Bali Dhanamani Model High School (H.S.)

Established in 1946, Bali Dhanamani Model High School (H.S.) is one of the oldest and most esteemed educational institutions on Bali Island, situated at Bali, P.O. Bali Hatkhola, P.S. Gosaba, District South 24 Parganas, West Bengal. Nestled in the rural coastal region of the Sundarbans, the school has been a centre of learning, discipline, and character building for nearly eight decades.

A Government-Sponsored institution recognized by the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education (WBBSE), the school has consistently worked towards providing quality education to students from all sections of society. Guided by the principles of the Right to Education (RTE), the institution welcomes learners irrespective of caste, creed, religion, gender, or economic background, fostering an inclusive and equitable learning environment.

1946	Official establishment as Bali Dhirennagar M.E. School.
1947	First Managing Committee constituted.
1948	Recognised as Junior School.
1958	Upgraded to Junior High School.
1965	Recognised as High School.
1974	Recognition renewed.
1980	School uniform introduced.
1985	First school magazine 'Sambarta' published.
2009–10	Two-storeyed academic building constructed.
2014	Government Sponsored status.
2018	ICT education introduced.
2023	Upgraded to Higher Secondary School.
2023	Rabindra Mukta Vidyalaya Study Centre established.
2024	Smart Classroom, Atal Tinkering Lab, Smart Seminar Hall, CCTV, High-speed Internet, Football Academy, Solar Power System and major infrastructure upgrades.
